it was finally calm allowing us to move into Blue Water Marina. Since we are having idle issues we missed our slip. RJ the deck hand helped to pull us around into our slip. So then we go to the Customs and Immigration office to sign in. After this we came back to the dock and met several other cruisers. We were hungry and asked around the dock for where to go. Everyone said CJ's for lunch. So we went to the top of the hill went inside and ordered Conch Fritters and Cracked Conch. We stared at the water while we ate. After we ate we went to the beach.
The day past and we got up to go use the internet. Afterwards we for a walk on the beach and had lunch at CJ's again. After that we went to get produce at the grocery store. The lady at the cash register said it would be in around 3pm, but it never did. We went back to the boat and saw that Bimini Blue Water Marina had a pool. I guess all the docks in Bahamas have a pool. We went to the pool for a swim and met other cruisers. After we left we had dinner and watched TV. Then went swimming again before getting a good nights sleep.
When I woke up dad had left a note that said "I am at the pool". So I went to the pool to go swimming again. After that I went back to the boat to do my school work while dad did errands. After he came back we went to CJ's. the beach, internet, pool and finally back to the boat for dinner and a good nights sleep.
When we woke up the next day we went fishing and caught some blue fish, barracudas, and a whole bunch of gar. When we hooked the gar they would break the water and dance a couple times for us. There was so much commotion that the one that was struggling to survive was found by a shark. After fishing we went back to the pool and then a shower.
The next day we moved back to Nixon Bay to wait for good weather to sail across the banks.
